Physical Perimeter Security
Our production equipment is collocated in San Jose at a facility that provides 24-hour physical security, redundant power supplies including diesel generators, electrical generators, redundant data center air conditioners, and other backup equipment designed to keep our servers up and running.

Data Encryption
Your data is protected by 128-Bit SSL Certificates from the industry leader Verisign. All data to and from our server is encrypted. You can be assured your session is protected by the lock icon in the lower right portion of your browser.

User Authentication
All users who access information from StreamShip must use a valid username and password. User authentication is checked each time a user requests a new page ensuring only authorized users have access to your information.

Application Security
Our robust application security model prevents StreamShip customer from accessing another's information. This security model is reapplied with every request and enforced for the entire duration of a user session.

Operating System Security
StreamShip protects it’s servers with strong passwords and limits both physical and remote access to the server. Our operating system is maintained on a daily basis at the patch level recommended by our O/S vendor.

Database Security
Our database is protected with strong passwords and additional protection is provided through limiting access to the database to key users.

Backup
A hot copy of our production database is maintained offsite. Additionally, daily, weekly, and monthly backups are completed and stored in a secure offsite facility.
